Double room in friendly house share

Hi,

Due to an exciting next step, I am very sadly leaving this wonderful healing home that I have lived in for the past 15 months and where I have met some lovely friends. This place is an absolute gem, really easy transport links to get anywhere in London, a tonne of storage space and you get to live with 3 genuinely fantastic women. It's available from the 13th June 2026!

About the house: It’s set over three storeys and has four bedrooms, a downstairs toilet and an upstairs bathroom (with great water pressure!). We have a beautiful kitchen leading out onto the garden and the “snug” (with sofa, TV and obligatory fairy lights). We’re 8 mins walk from Oval station, 15 mins from Stockwell station, 5 mins walk from Kennington Park & Myatts Fields Park. There’s a Co-op and a Tesco Express on either end of the road, and a lidl in walking distance. The area has some nice little pubs, shops and bars and there's a little farmers market every Saturday morning.

About the room: It’s a cute and light double room on the first-floor of the house. The room comes with a double bed, chest of drawers, bed side table and a wardrobe with extra storage space on the landing just outside the room which you share with Phoebe. There's also space for a desk in the room and clothes rail so you have a space to work from home if needed. (Desk, Mirror and Clothes rail NOT included). We also have a fortnightly cleaner for communal spaces. Bills come to £100-150 (depending on month).

About the flat mates you'll be moving in with: Phoebe (28), Jen (25) & Kez (29) all work various office jobs with a mixture of home and office working. We all met through SpareRoom and have each lived here from a few months to 2+ years. We all get along really well and make time for house dinners/outings and catching up while cooking in the kitchen - but we also know we all have busy lives and our own friends and interests outside of the house and have understanding around this. We really want this to be a home not just a house so if all this sounds great please get in touch!

There is a deposit but Spareroom is making it difficult - I believe the deposit is 5 weeks rent or about that.
