Double bedroom for rent, whilst I am travelling until April 1st 2027 (there can be some flexibility) in a nice, clean but cosy apartment consisting of the 2 top floors (2nd and 3rd) of a period building. The apartment has recently been refurbished with a new kitchen, heating and more and has a pleasant, warm and homely feel.

The bedroom offered consists of the loft conversion. It occupies the whole 3rd floor and has an en-suite bathroom.

The room offers complete privacy, is quiet, can be locked, has a double bed, plenty of built in storage and space for a small desk/table and office chair, as well as some additional furniture. There is more storage outside the bedroom if needed. I have taken my personal possesions out.

The shared living room is light and has a new, very complete, open kitchen.

You'll be sharing with one professional who has his bedroom and bathroom on the 2nd floor.

The building is in a pleasant residential street in Oval, 10 mins walk to Vauxhall Station (Victoria Line & National Rail Service) and 2 mins walk from Oval tube station (Northern Line).

The rent is £1075/ month plus share of bills which were £130 per month per room in 2025. This included council tax (band C), water, electricity, heating and broadband. On top of this there is your share of the costs of the cleaner if desired, who can also do laundy should you be a professional using the room only on week nights without time for house work. In this case there could also be the option of renting a smaller room after April 1st as well (to be discussed in 2027).

The deposit is 5 weeks rent.

The flat would suit professionals wanting a London base, but it can also be perfect for someone who wants to make it his/her home and doesn’t mind sharing the living room and kitchen.

You must be tidy, considerate, reliable, relaxed and fun loving. No smoking, no couples.
