Description
Hello,
I am NOT able to message "EARLY BIRD" adverts as I have not paid for this benefit.
If there are any Mon-Fri people, price would obviously be adjusted as appropriate. Likewise, should you be anti-smoking, then if you only wanted to stay a few nights per week I would ensure that I only smoked in the garden during your stay (so please disregard my last paragraph of this ad).
I have a 3-bed/2-bathroom garden apartment on a quiet street in Peckham, The available room has a wardrobe, drawers and double bed. Living room has 2 x sofas and dining table + chairs. I have an en suite on my bedroom so the other "house bathroom" would be yours to share with any guests we might have, so it would not be 100% private for you. Broadband & all mod cons. For full time lodgers you would pay half of the Council Tax each month (£60) and half towards the gas and electric bills. No other charges.
I have 2 cats - so must love animals - or at least always be kind to mine! This is a deal breaker.
Nearby: bus station/many supermarkets/shops on my doorstep. Zone 2 with excellent transport links:
* Trains to London Bridge in 7 minutes from Queen's Road Peckham
* Trains to Blackfriars/City Thameslink in 12 minutes from Peckham Rye.
* Trains to London Victoria in 11 minutes from Peckham Rye.
* East London Overground Extension to Canada Water in 6 minutes, Clapham Junction and Shoreditch High Street 20 mins, Islington a 25 mins.
* Bermondsey Tube is 20-25 mins walk away.
* Elephant & Castle tube is less than 10 mins by bus.
* Bus stops to pretty much everywhere around London within 5 mins walk. Bus 78 leaves 4 mins from my house and travels over Tower Bridge up to Liverpool St and Shoreditch. Bus 63, again 4 mins from my house, travels via Elephant & Castle and over Blackfriars Bridge, up through Farringdon & Holborn Circus and up to Kings Cross.
* Many 24 hours buses to and from Peckham., bus station at the top of my road. You can use SE15 1PX to check on routes.
Parking on my street now requires a permit. Directly in front of my house is a council bike hanger that I have a key for.
I am looking for someone who is relatively clean, tidy, considerate and respectful, who will treat my place like their own home and respect it as such. Me? - I'm really laid back and easy going, I've spent 10 years of my life travelling around the world - I used to work as an Expedition Leader all over the world - never married, no kids, crazy about animals. I think I have a mental age of about 27-30 yrs old but my body is telling me otherwise :-(
Some of the photos showing in this ad were taken a few years ago - but the bedroom on offer was taken last week.
I do work from home 2 days a week and so at that time I do tend to smoke out of the living room window (being where my computer is set up). Under the vacant bedroom door I have fitted something like a draft excluder which, I am assured by previous tenants, does a very good job jn keeping these smells out of the room. That said, if you are someone who is super sensitive to smells and can not tolerate to be around a smoker or catching a whiff at times, then I don't think my place is for you.
