Spacious room in beautiful house

Hi everyone!

We have a spacious double room to rent in our beautiful house in a quiet part of Peckham. Perfect for a couple, or one person who likes their space. We are four creative professionals working in the arts, graphic design, and architecture. We are in our late twenties/early thirties and come from three different countries. We all care about the environment and two of us are vegetarians/pescatarians, one person is omnivorous and one is vegan.

The house is massive. Ground floor is a huge kind of open space with fabulous kitchen/dinning room, and spacious living room which we use for film projections. We have a projector and we watch films but we don’t have a TV and we’re happy to keep it that way. We're a sociable bunch and have friends over for dinner from time to time but please note that we are not a party house.

The house is lovely and we all take care of it. The pictures speak for themselves. There are two bathrooms in the house, one for the rooms on the first floor (which includes this room) and there is one ensuite for another room. Bills come in at approximately £50 pcm per person. This might change a little depending on whether one or two people move into the room.

The room is available from the 21st of March, and comes with a double bed and two tall dressers, and the option to purchase other furniture from current occupant, including a very long white desk and a chair. Please note – the furniture in the photos is not the furniture in the bedroom currently, with the exception of the tall dressers.

Location couldn’t be better with great transport links, including numerous buses to Elephant & Castle and Central London (Old Kent Road and Queens Road Peckham bus stops). We are approximately an 8-minute walk to Queens Road Peckham train station (overground and trains).
There are stores all around (Lidl/Aldi are a 3/5-minute walk away, and getting to Tesco/Sainsbury’s that are open till 11pm takes approximately 8 minutes). We are a 15-minute walk to Rye Lane / Peckham Rye station.

More than happy to take viewings after 7pm weekdays or on weekends.
