Gigantic room available 5 weeks Peckham/Camberwell

My partner and I are looking to sublet our lovely room two minutes walk from beautiful Burgess Park for around a month.

The room is very big (34 sqm) and comes with a sofa, desk and plenty of storage. The room has a conservatory-like roof window and Juliet balcony overlooking the garden and can even be separated in two with a curtain if you like. The bathroom is right outside and has a shower and bath. The room would be perfect for a couple who need to work from home sometimes and like to have some of their own space away from the rest of the house.

There is safe storage for bikes in the garage, space to park a car out front (none of the existing flatmates have cars) and a large garden with BBQ outdoor table etc. round the back. The room is available from Sunday 15 September until Saturday 21 October, but we might be able to be flexible around those dates for the right person.

The room is in a 4-bedroom house and you would be living with Florence (26, full time job in advertising), Toni (26 full time job for a music charity), and Ellie (25, full time job for a music company). They are all friendly, easygoing and sociable. The kitchen is massive and has ample room for having people round etc., which you would be welcome to do!

The house is located very close to Burgess Park and a 15-minute walk to central Camberwell and central Peckham (including 15 mins to Peckham Rye station and less to Lidl). It's in a gated community, so its very safe, and has plenty of parking out front and loads of storage space.

Bills for water, gas, electricity, super-fast 5G broadband, council tax (we're in Band E) and a TV licence come to around £90 per person, or £150 for a couple's share.

We are open to couples, and we would love to meet you by video call or in person if you’d like to have a look around the house (but no pressure)!

It's a great house we really love - light, quiet and well-located near Peckham, Camberwell and the park. We're only leaving because we've found a place by ourselves in north London and will have a month of overlap, but I'm sure you'll love the room - it is especially suited to those newly moving to London who need space, friendly people to live with and a convenient location for getting to know south London.
