Description
Looking for a flatmate to replace me in a 2-level flat in north Peckham. You'll be living with my current flatmate Helen - a 36-year-old copywriter and journalist who's lived here for about a year and half.
About the flat:
The flat has a really roomy living room upstairs and a big kitchen on the groundfloor (which is really modern and light-filled, a great space for cooking!). The kitchen looks out over a garden which has a patio and garden chairs. There's 1 main bathroom, and a extra loo / mini-bathroom. The bedroom going free is on the 1st floor looking over the courtyard, and the other bedroom is on the groundfloor. There's also 3 massive storage cupboards.
Please note: The flat comes unfurnished so some of the furniture you'll see in the pictures will go - but there'll be a TV, sofa, and desk in the living room, and a table in the kitchen. (Basically, a few bits and bobs will be needed but the current housemate is on it and it can all be figured out depending on what you want to bring too.)
The flat is walkable to Peckham Rye station and has handy buses to central London v close by. It's 15 mins by bus to Elephant and Castle for the tube. It's also right next to Burgess Park for running or chilling in summer. Camberwell is also only a short walk away.
The rent includes heating but council tax (band B), internet, electric and water not included. Ends up around £1150 all in per month (sometimes less).
About the housemate! (written by Helen :))
Hi! I'm Helen - I joined Sean in the flat last summer. It's been a lovely place to live for the past 18 months or so. Great sunny patio and feels really spacious for 2 people because of the split level and extra bathroom. I'm looking for someone who's easy-going and reasonably clean etc. the usual stuff! I work in the office mostly but around a few evenings in the week and always up for a natter, wine or Traitors catch-up if you're about. Equally, I'm happy doing my own thing. I'm relaxed about having people over for dinner etc. and I'm usually out and about on the weekend seeing friends or attempting to use my gym membership. Looking forward to meeting and hearing more about you!
Thanks,
Helen and Sean
