Double room in garden house near Burgess Park

We have one double room going in a beautiful three-floor house next to Burgess Park. Move-in date 15 August 2024.

The room comes furnished (with a double bed, wardrobe, and chest of drawers) and has plenty of space for extra storage and a desk.

The house is in a lovely, quiet, residential street, a short walk from the lake and community gardens and saunas. We have a big back garden, beautiful kitchen, living room, guest room, and a shared bathroom but two loos.

The house has loads of great transport links nearby. We're 15 minutes' walk from Rye Lane and the overground station, a 10 minute bus ride to Elephant and Castle, and there are regular buses into central and beyond from the stops a few minutes' walk away.

The rent is £675 pcm plus bills & Band E council tax (about £120 for everything). Deposit will be around £475.

We are 3 friendly people in our late-20s/early-30s, with two of us working in the arts and one finishing up an MA. We enjoy sharing meals, watching a film together, spending time in the garden, or taking a trip to one of the many lovely pubs nearby. But we equally enjoy our own space, making music, reading, crocheting, or spending the day out exploring London.

We're looking for someone who's kind, relaxed, and tidy to join our lovely house.
