We're looking for a lovely new housemate for our 3 bed house in Peckham/Nunhead. Having a place to call home is important to us and while we have busy London lives, we value taking care of the house and each other. We like to hang out when we’re all in, whether that be cooking together or watching a movie. While it’s not a party house, we love to have friends over for dinner or drinks, as well as the occasional larger gathering.

We all chip in with the cleaning and new ideas to make the house homely - recent additions include fairy lights for our backyard and basil pots in the windows. We also share communal things like condiments, loo roll etc. We’re looking to find someone considerate, kind, and sociable, who is keen to be part of making the house a home.

The housemates
Huan (36) is the founder of a local charity and Talie (33) is a photographer/video creator and editor. House interests include: pottery, yoga, running, live music, cooking, surfing, cycling, escaping London for festivals/holidays, dancing, gardening.

The house
The house is pretty big for 3 people, with 3 good sized bedrooms (the one that is available is the largest) and a big sunny living room full of plants. We’re in the process of getting another sofa to make it cosier, so please don’t be put off by the photos! We have a big open plan kitchen/living room, with loads of cupboard space for everyone. There’s a little backyard, which gets the lunchtime sun, and is a lovely spot for chilled evening hang outs. We have two bathrooms - a shower room by the kitchen and a huge corner bath upstairs, with the loo.

The room
The room is the largest, at the front of the house, with two big windows. It get lots of sun! It is unfurnished but the the bed/mattress are for sale, as well as a few other bits, if you fancy negotiating with Gabriel!

The admin
The rent is 816/month. Bills on top of this come to roughly £100-150, depending on the season (gas, electricity, water, council tax, internet, TV licence). We all take responsibility for a couple of bills and share the cost between us. The house is managed by a surprisingly helpful agency, who have an office round the corner.

There is a deposit of £942 to pay. There are also the usual reference checks that go through the agency. The current tenancy is until August 2025.

The move in date is Sept 25th however this can definitely be flexible for the right person, so please get in touch if your dates are a week or so different either way!

The location
Is amazing! We have a friendly cornershop directly opposite, as well as a lovely pub (the Hollydale) on the corner and a 10 min walk to Nunhead. We’re also 15 mins walk from: central Peckham, Telegraph hill (best park in London?), Lidl and big Sainsbury’s. Queens road Peckham is 8 min walk.
