room available for someone LGBTQ and 30+, inc all bills in my house in peckham se15, zone 2, five minutes walk from queens road peckham station.

live in landlord situ. longer term preferred but no strict minimum term.

my housemate recently moved out because they’re getting married after a v lovely year and a bit of living here 💖😭

- good size double room on the first floor (master bedroom on floor plan pic)

- it’s a house with living room, dining room and separate kitchen, two bathrooms
- only me living there with you (so plenty of space)

- big tv, nintendo, decent board game collection

- queens road peckham (overground & national rail) is 5 mins walk away
- loads of buses on the old kent road, also 5 mins away.
- walk or short bus to peckham rye, new cross and deptford for food, entertainment etc
- v near a park, and a gym / pool about 15 mins walk
- loads of big supermarkets nearby (lidl, iceland, sainsburys, asda, morrisons)

about me:

- 36, gay/queer.
- into roller skating, playing drums in a queer DIY band, watching trash tv / documentaries / podcasts, baking, playing nintendo switch.
- i help tenants with bad landlords for a living

- i’m veggie and don’t eat a lot of dairy. my preference is for a meat free kitchen, even better if you wanna share soy milk
- i don’t smoke or do drugs and i also don’t really drink anymore
- i work from home 2-3 out of 5 days a week
- very allergic to cats so can’t live with them - sorry! 😿💔.
- ambivalent about other pets but can consider
- i am not the tidiest person ever but im not gross

ideal housemate:

- an lgbtq person of any gender / sexuality / pronoun preference 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️
- 30+
- able to move around jan or february 2025

- not a tory / racist / transphobe

- someone who would prefer to be friends eventually and hang out sometimes at home. this is fairly important to me as i really hate feeling like i live with a complete stranger! but im also quite busy w various hobbies so not expecting to hang out all the time.
for example, ive hosted dinners etc with my housemate + our friends before, and made the effort to catch up when its been a while, and that’s been really nice.

- happy to have our friends visit / stay and it be a sociable house but also have the normal balance of having our own space

i’m not in a massive rush and i think it’s more important to find the right person, rather than just the person who can move quickest.
