I’m looking for a new flatmate to share a very spacious, top-floor two-bedroom flat, featuring a large wrap-around roof terrace with fantastic views across southeast London and towards the City.

The flat is on the sixth floor of a secure, modern apartment building just off Queens Road, a short walk from the station and the shops, cafés, bars and pubs of vibrant Peckham.

My current flatmate is moving to be closer to work, so the room will be available from early June. There may be some flexibility if you need to move sooner.

The tenancy

- Rolling (periodic) contract
- Two-month notice period
- Option for tenant swap if one person moves out

About me

I’m Ross, an architect working in Shoreditch, mostly office-based with the occasional WFH day. I’ve lived in London flatshares for several years, and many of my previous flatmates have become good friends.

I’m looking for someone easy-going and considerate, who’s happy to socialise occasionally - whether that’s sharing a meal or heading to the pub - but also respects personal space. It’s important to me that the flat feels like home for both of us.

Outside of work, I like to stay active - I’m part of a local running group and regularly sign up for half marathons and the occasional marathon. I also love to travel and am keen to explore more of Europe by train.

I’m aiming to get myself on the property ladder later this year, so there’s a chance I may move out in a few months’ time (noting that buying a property takes time). I’d always give as much notice as possible and would help with finding a replacement. This could also be a nice opportunity for you to shape the flatshare longer-term, whether that’s choosing a new flatmate or bringing in someone you already know.
