Huge Double Peckham Sublet

Hi everyone,
 
Our housemate is moving to Australia 🥲 so we’re looking for someone for 1 month sublet, 23rd July till end of August. There’s a possibility it may be longer but can’t guarantee at this stage as we are looking for a new house (if it’s the right fit we’d love for you to join us in the new house)- would suit someone flexible. Huge double room in Peckham just off Rye Lane. Rent is £620/month + bills (around £100, varies slightly depending on the season; this includes council tax as there is no exemption for it). The room is on the first floor at the front of the house. The only furniture staying for now is the bed, drawers and clothes rail.
 
Move in date: 23rd of July
 
About the house:
The house is situated a 10-minute walk from Peckham Rye station and there are various buses running 24/7. There are several bigger shops around within 5-15 minutes (Tesco, Lidle, Morrisons) or local shops just around the corner. If you are familiar with the area, you will know there are lots of cafes, bars, and restaurants around. It is a super lively area, but we are lucky enough to be situated on a quiet street.
 
There are 5 rooms, 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. We do not have a living room and the kitchen acts as our living room. There is a big garden at the back of the house where we all hang out especially when sunny or having the occasional bonfire. For those who cycle, we have a bike shed.
 
 
About us:
You will be living with me (interior designer), Alex (AV/sound technician), Rob (animator) and Maya(works in charity). There is a mix of working from home and going in, however generally there’s someone in the house. We are all friendly and enjoy chilling together at the end of the day, but we also respect each other’s independent time. We have a cleaning rota. We’re social and friendly, we all have people over now and then and have the occasional bbq/gathering and we do go out sometimes.
 
About you:
We’re very open but would suit someone 25+ who is flexible about the timing. We are looking for someone considerate and friendly. We will expect you to be actively involved in house chores. We want to hear what you have to say and make space for your contributions to the house.
