Double room in lovely Peckham flat with garden

Hi everyone,

I am looking for someone new to come and share my beautiful 2 bedroom flat in Peckham with me, as sadly my current flatmate is moving out of London.

The flat is located less than a 10 minute walk from Peckham Rye station which has direct links to London Bridge, London Victoria, and is also on the overground Windrush line. We are also just a stone throws away from all of the lovely cafes, restaurants and bars around Bellenden Road, as well as a 10 minute walk from Peckham Rye for some green space.

The flat is ground floor with a bright and spacious open plan kitchen and living room. The backdoors of the kitchen open out directly onto our private garden, which gets the sun most of the time. Your bedroom is upstairs and has excellent built-in storage.

The bedroom will be unfurnished, and if you have any other furniture you would want to bring, we could discuss that, as my flatmate will be taking the living space furniture away with her. I do have my own furniture to replace it with, but if you have certain pieces you would like to add to the communal spaces, we could do that.

I am 35 years old and work for a sustainability consultancy, usually working 3 days from home and 2 days from the office. It's fine if you also work from home (there's space for a desk in the bedroom), although ideally you would also be at the office at least a few days a week.

I am definitely looking for someone who wants to treat this place as a home, and someone who has somewhat similar interests to me and is happy to sometimes cook together or share a glass of wine. I have loved living with my current flatmate so am sad to see her go, but am hoping that I can find someone who will also become a genuine friend.

I do have two rescue dogs who currently spend most of their time at my mum's house in southeast London, but who will be at the flat from time to time, so you must be ok with dogs! Bonus if you love dogs. They are both extremely sweet and easygoing. Other pets would be considered, provided they are ok with dogs. The dog you see in some of the pics is not one of mine! That's my current flatmates dog.
