Double room in a bright Peckham flat

Hi! ✨ After 3 years of living together, my flatmate is moving out and I am looking for someone to fill her room.

The flat has high ceilings, lots of light and plenty of space. It is 2 bedrooms and a communal kitchen/living room. There is a fire escape that can be taken down to a garden that is shared with the rest of the building. Most people in the building are a bit older and it has a calm vibe with kids and dogs. 🌳

The location is perfect. It is about a 10 minute walk to Peckham Rye station but also only about 15 minutes to Camberwell, giving flexibility to spend time in both areas. We often pop down to Peckham Pelican for a drink or Toad bakery for a pastry. 🥐

The end of the contract is December 23, but there is some flexibility to move in earlier in the month.

While the flat comes unfurnished, the living room is already full of things that will remain (but always happy to have new additions if you want to put something out there). The bedroom will be empty but my flatmate is planning to sell all her furniture and you can take it over at a discounted price if you wish. The kitchen is fully equipped and has a kettle, coffee maker and toaster.

Bills normally come out to around 100gbp per month, but it does vary a bit.

I am looking for someone in a similar age range who wants this to be a shared home that we will both care for and who will be down to build a friendship where we can comfortably spend time together around the house. 🌸

I am hoping to have viewings during the weeks of Nov 10-21.
