We are a couple currently living in a 2 bedroom garden flat between Peckham (10 min walk) and Denmark hill (15 min walk). It is a quiet and leafy street.
We are moving into a new apartment that our friend owns while they go travelling and so need someone to take over the lease in this flat.
The lease runs until the 4th October 2026 and after that you will be able to renew with the landlord, if you like!
The highlights are it has a garden/patio and a great garden room that can be used as an extra space (working from home, having someone stay etc).
We were given the flat completely unfurnished and over the last year and a half we have gotten all of the furniture indoor/outdoor that you can see in the pictures.
We are moving to a furnished flat and so we would have a preference for someone looking to buy the majority of the furniture (not a prerequisite but it makes our lives easier). Please let us know how much furniture you would be willing to buy
I have spoken to Foxtons and this is how the process works:
- we advertise on spare room
- we select the new tenants and forward them on to Foxtons
- Foxtons do checks/references and send the to landlord
- Landlord agrees (the landlord has already said he’s happy as long as we find good tenants) and there is a £50 name change fee per person
- move in on 1st February
