Flatshare in North Peckham / Old Kent Road Area

Hello!

I’ve got a room to rent at my space in North Peckham right on the edge of Burgess Park and Old Kent Road. I’ve put some work into doing it up and had my sister here with me for a while, but she’s moving to Aus and I would like a steady roommate! It’s in a gated-off modern block of flats with a concierge service and bicycle storage down the side. Bedroom pictured would be yours - it has 2 metres of floor to ceiling wardrobe space and all the furniture has only been used 3 months.

I lived with 80 people in a Notting Hill guardianship before moving here, so going into a 2 bed has been quite the change - and a big motivating factor is simply having somebody else around the house I get on with. Whilst I own the flat I wouldn’t want whoever joined me to feel like they had any less right to have friends over, have an equal say in things and for them to be able to treat the place entirely as their own.

I’m usually an incredibly active / social person that’s out a lot and enjoy running, organising large events, and travel whenever I can but try to force myself to have quieter evenings in reading and watching films to prevent burnout!

I used to be an actor (now work in international development) so bonus points if you also love the theatre - I’m also learning french very slowly / badly so if you’re a french speaker that’s great too!

I’m super flexible as to when a person would move in as it’s not a major rush - would just like to find somebody that feels like we’re a good fit. Happy to answer any Qs and let me know if you want to come look at the place / introduce yourself.
