We are looking for a new flatmate to join our lovely 3-bed professional flat, as our current flatmate of four years is sadly leaving us. We’re ideally after someone looking for a home, not just a room.
The room
- Spacious, bright double room with your own private balcony;
- Unfurnished, though the current housemate may be open to selling some furniture;
- Plenty of space for a double bed, desk and storage etc;
- You will share the main bathroom with Nicole.
The flat
- Modern new-build maisonette split over two floors;
- Large, open plan kitchen/living space that’s ideal for cooking and hanging out;
- Private terrace, backing onto a large communal outdoor terrace;
- Three bathrooms in total;
- Lots of additional storage space throughout.
Location and practical bits
- Move-in date: Ideally 29th April, but we can be flexible for the right person.
- Rent: Currently £856/month but due a small increase
- Bills: approx ~£150/month (including Council Tax Band D)
- Deposit: one month's rent
- Transport links: 5 mins to Queens Road Peckham Station, 14 mins to Peckham Rye Station and a well connected bus stop just outside the flat that runs all night.
- Area: Plenty of supermarkets, restaurants, coffee and wine shops, gyms all nearby.
- Contract: Professionally managed by the building owners, with yearly contract and standard reference checks.
About us:
You’ll be living with Robin (M, 32) a construction design manager who’s usually off to a gig or concert, and Nicole (F, 31) who works in ops and digital for a charity, and is a lighting designer with a love for electronic music. We both work from home about half the week and are sociable, friendly and often hang out in the kitchen or head to gigs and exhibitions together. That being said, we're both equally respectful of each other's space and downtime.
Who we’re looking for:
Ideally a young professional who’s tidy, considerate and easy going. Who’s up for occasional chat or shared dinners, without it being a party house. As it’s a modern new-build, we’re keen to add a bit more character to the place, so we’d love someone who enjoys making a space feel cozy. No couples please.
