Bright Double Room near Burgess Park/Peckham

We have a bright, spacious double room available in our modern new-build 2-bed, 2-bath flat, just 30 seconds from Burgess Park. The flat has high ceilings, large windows and lots of natural light, so it feels really open and airy.

The room is fully furnished and comes with a very comfortable double Emma mattress, plenty of storage, and its own private bathroom (just outside the room rather than ensuite). As a bonus, you get a daily view of the Shard from the room.

Location-wise it’s really well connected. Burgess Park is literally at the end of the street, Old Kent Road is a 5-minute walk for easy bus routes into the city (including the 63 and 363), and Peckham Rye station is about a 10-minute walk away. Elephant & Castle is around 25 minutes on foot or about 10 minutes by bus from the stop 30 seconds from the flat.

The building itself has a great community feel. There’s a communal garden and a huge roof terrace on the 4th floor where residents often host small gatherings and events. We also have our own private balcony which is perfect for a bit of summer alfresco dining.

You’d be living with me and my partner Raffaela (30/31 years old). Raffaela is a teacher and I work in software. We’re both active, sociable and enjoy things like travelling, festivals, and hanging out with friends, but we also appreciate quiet evenings at home cooking something good. We keep the place clean, relaxed and tidy.

We’re looking for someone with a good vibe who is respectful, clean and easy to live with. The room would suit a professional who wants a comfortable, friendly home rather than just a place to stay.

Rent is £1200 per month with bills included. We’re fairly flexible on move-in dates but ideally looking for someone from April, with a stay of up to 6 months.
