This beautiful bedroom is humongous, over 283 square footage (18.4ft x 15.4ft) or 26 square meters and benefits from having a French balcony and gorgeous glazed conservatory that's filled with natural light during the day. It is obviously ideal for people who love the sunshine and have lots of furniture. The bedroom comes with a double bed, very large wardrobe, large leather sofa bed, large chest of drawers, coffee table, bedside table, study desk and chair. It is located on the first floor of the house, which also has several bathrooms, large kitchen and living room, garage, large back garden, along with 3 other bedrooms. The house is only 11 years old and is located in a quiet gated area (security password protected), and is a stone's throw away from the newly renovated BBQ-friendly huge Burgess Park with a fishing lake. There are four large supermarkets (Tesco, ASDA, Morrisons and Lidl) within easy walking distance, as well as a Tesco Express literally just around the corner.
The house is ideally situated for easy travel to all parts of the city: The nearest bus stop is only 3 minutes walk away, with the frequent 343 bus service heading towards London Bridge and New Cross Gate (day & night) and 136 bus service heading towards Elephant & Castle and Grove Park (day & night). The nearest tube station is Elephant & Castle (15 mins bus ride away). Additionally, Peckham Rye train station is only 10 mins walk. Several other local bus services also frequently head towards the City Centre, these include: 171 (Holborn), 36 and 436 (Paddington/Victoria), 63 (King's Cross), 12 and 453 (Oxford Street), 168 (Waterloo, Hampstead Heath), 172 (St Paul’s Cathedral), 345 (Clapham Junction), 363 (Crystal Palace).
We are very friendly, easy-going professionals (scientist, software developer and a lawyer), who like to socialize, but equally we respect others' space. Our working days are quite busy, but when weather allows we try to make use of the back garden by having BBQs during the weekends. We also try to keep as fit as possible, so you are more than welcome to join us running, cycling, gymming. Btw, there is a huge (500 litres) fish tank in the kitchen, so hopefully you like fish :-)
We are looking for a non-smoking like-minded professional who is also easy going, clean, sociable and looking to join our relaxed, multi-national household.
The room is for one person only and costs £938 per calendar month inclusive of bills (Internet included). The rent is paid in advance each month and there is one month deposit. Six months minimum stay, but longer contract is preferred. It is available from the 28th of February.
