Large bright loft room w/ ensuite in family home

Before we start: we've got a very friendly, medium sized, non-smelly dog so if you're not a dog fan or have pets of your own, this house isn't for you!

We're looking for a lodger for our big, bright and quiet loft room. The fully furnished space has an ensuite shower/WC with a desk, sofa area, fridge and microwave. This self-contained room is accessed through our house and our lodger is welcome to use our fully equipped family kitchen, garden and washing machine.

I work full time from home & our quiet lives revolve around my 10yo's school schedule, early morning dog walks etc. Although I love a cup of tea and a chat, this arrangement will suit someone who wants their own sofa and bathroom, has an established social network and regular schedule.

It's fully furnished and we're flexible on the length of let so great if you're moving to London, have a temporary placement here, are in between properties or need a pied-a-terre.

Local transport includes: 1) 5 mins to Kent House station for Victoria/Brixton/Bromley South 2) 10 mins to Clock House for Charing X, Waterloo East & London Bridge 3) 20 min walk to Penge West for the East London line. South London tramlink from Avenue Road westbound to Croydon, Wimbledon etc. Local buses and night buses 176, N3. Quick connections to Gatwick Airport.

Penge is a lovely place to live with supermarkets, several nice pubs, a couple of local breweries, coffee shops, good restaurants, many parks (incl park runs & fitness classes), a cinema, a gym & swimming pool in easy walking distance - not to mention a buzzing community with groups and events.

This is our family home so we're looking for someone responsible that will respect it and everyone's safety.
