Double bright room. Bills inc. 6 weeks short term

The room is available from 08/08/24 onwards on a temporary basis until the 19/09/24 so 6 weeks altogether, there's some flexibility when it comes to dates. A £400 deposit will be held in advance upon contract signing.

Hi. My name is Matheus and I'm a chef. I spend a few months traveling around every year and I need someone to rent my bedroom while I'm away. Important to note that some of the selection process will be done in person or online via video call.

The flat:
It's mostly a mixed background, cleanliness is paramount around here. A four bedroom flat with no living room, one bathroom, a decent size kitchen/dining area with all appliances and hallway with space for bike parking, coat hanging and shoe rack.

The room:
It's a large size double room with a big bright window which catches the morning sun, one chest of drawers, one reading chair, a double size bed, one bed side table and one double door wardrobe. Easy pleasing clean deco with some plants. Wood flooring throughout, freshly painted. You'll have sole use of the room and all the furniture space.

The housemates:
You'll be sharing with 3 other people, 2 females and 1 male. The environment is super friendly and the house is kept clean and tidy at all times. A casual dinner together during weekends might happen every now and then but definitely no parties or loudness after 10pm.

The location:
We are located right next to Penge West overground station so it's pretty easy to connect to all central areas, with that being said, as expected, you can hear the trains and it may take some getting used to the noise. In the beginning I used to sleep with earplugs but after a couple weeks I got used to it. Crystal palace station is 15 minutes walk from the flat and Penge East 7 minutes walking, both have trains which will quickly take you to central London.
Crystal Palace park is across the road and it's a beautiful place for an afternoon stroll or some Sunday farmers market shopping/eating.

We prefer women to keep a nice balance in the house.
