Large double, 1 female flatmate - East London

My sister is relocating to Italy, so I’m looking for a new female housemate to take over her room from Nov/Dec (with some flexibility on the move-in date for the right person)

We’ve lived in this house for the past 5 and a half years and absolutely love it. Finding a place in London that genuinely feels like home is so hard nowadays, but this house has really been that for us, and I'd love to keep that "girlies household" feel going.

About the house: It’s a huge 3-storey house, but despite having 3 bedrooms, it will just be the two of us living here. I occupy the top floor where I have my room and home office (not shown on the ad), so the rest of the house feels very open and quiet.

Your room is a large, bright double on the 1st floor with plenty of wardrobe space and overhead storage cabinets. Also on the 1st floor, we have a living room, separate dining room, kitchen, a spare guest room, and cleaning/utility storage. There’s also an attic space directly above the kitchen where we store extra bits like suitcases, Christmas tree/decorations and other bits and bobs we don't need on the main floors. On the ground floor, you’ll find the bathroom featuring a big walk-in shower, a laundry area, and access to a private garden.

Location-wise, we’re on a quiet, friendly residential street with lovely neighbours. It's a really nice community, mostly families. There’s a bus stop just a 3-minute walk away, taking you straight to Stratford in 10 minutes (or you can walk to Stratford in about 30 minutes). Upton Park and Plaistow stations are both within a short walking distance (about 10 mins). We’re also close to West Ham Park, which is lovely for walks, with Stratford Park just a bit further down.

A bit about me: I’m Cristina (32), Romanian born but I grew up in Italy, and moved to London 10+ years ago. I work in commercial real estate (full time office) and love traveling, reading, going out for dinner/drinks with friends but I also love a good night in, especially when the weather turns cold! I travel to Italy quite a bit to see family (and often bring some yummy treats).

I like to keep our home clean, comfortable, and well looked after, and I’m always very considerate of the person I share with. I’m looking for a female professional ideally over 25 who is similarly clean, tidy, and thoughtful and is looking for a long-term let. To put it bluntly, this isn’t a party house, I'm well into my 30s and my adhd brain needs a peaceful, calm atmosphere to unwind in.

I’d love to find someone who enjoys an occasional movie night or hanging out over drinks/dinner, and hopefully someone I can become friends with. At the same time, I really value downtime and privacy, so I’m hoping to find a housemate who also understands that balance. Having guests over from time to time is totally fine, but I’d prefer someone who doesn't host people every week and is mindful that it's a shared home.

Rent is £775 per month, and bills are NOT included (we will split all bills 50/50 between us). Our landlords are lovely couple who live just down the road, though the tenancy process itself goes through an agency as the landlords are abroad most of the time.
