The shared areas

The house was renovated in 2026 to a high spec while keeping its period character: original cornicing, panelled walls and engineered oak floors throughout the ground floor. It's been designed with everyday living in mind, from dimmable lighting and plenty of plug sockets to beautiful furniture throughout.

• Kitchen/diner: a light-filled extension with skylights and a large quartz island, fitted with brand new, high-spec, fully integrated Bosch appliances: induction hob, oven, microwave, full-size dishwasher and washer/dryer. Plenty of storage, and you get your own full-size fridge and freezer. The dining table seats 6–10 and glazed doors open onto the garden.

• Garden: a private garden with comfortable bench seating and outdoor lighting, perfect for summer evenings.

• Bathroom: extra large, with a walk-in rainfall shower and separate handset, bath, double vanity and underfloor heating. You'd have your own sink, half the vanity drawers and two-thirds of the mirrored cabinet. There's also a separate downstairs WC.

• Living room: bespoke shelving and plantation shutters, plus a quiet room downstairs you're welcome to work from on WFH days.

Transport and the area

10 minutes' walk to three stations:

• Westbourne Park (Hammersmith & City/Circle): one stop to Paddington and the Elizabeth line, direct to Moorgate for the City
• Queen's Park (Bakerloo and Overground): direct to Paddington, Oxford Circus and Wembley
• Kensal Rise (Overground): direct to Acton, Kew and Richmond

Queen's Park, Salusbury Road's cafés, the Grand Union Canal, Portobello Road and Notting Hill are all close by. Third Space Queen's Park and F45 are a few minutes' walk away.

Current housemates:

Just me, Nik. I work in real estate investment and occasionally work from home in the loft office. I'm into fitness: I hit the gym regularly, have done a Hyrox, and a marathon is on the bucket list. I love cooking and skiing, and I'm into all sorts of music and films. I enjoy a drink but generally try to keep healthy.

I'm very clean and tidy, easygoing and respectful of people's space. I'm looking for someone similar: a considerate professional who appreciates a well-kept home and is happy to be friendly, with the odd dinner or drink, while each having our own space.
