Description
2 Housemates Wanted in 3 bed Home - Raynes Park
Howzit! I’m Lia
I’m looking for two people to join my fully furnished house in Raynes Park — not just to rent a room, but to properly make yourself at home. This is the kind of house where people greet each other, have a chat in the kitchen, and feel comfortable using the space, not one where everyone disappears behind closed doors.
I live here with my cat, Hello Kitty 🐈⬛ (she’s absolutely in charge). I’m after easygoing, friendly people who enjoy a warm, lekker home — shared meals, the odd drink, relaxed evenings, and a good balance between time together and your own space.
⸻
🙋🏻♀️ About Me
I’m social, welcoming, and fairly balanced. I enjoy being out and about, but I also love a quiet night on the couch with a series and a cup of something warm (or a gin).
I’m into:
* Formula 1
* Gin
* Binge-worthy series
* Caffeine (in all forms)
I like cooking with people (team effort, mixed results), catching up after work, and keeping the house feeling comfortable, lived-in, and never awkward.
⸻
🐈⬛ About Hello Kitty (The Real Boss)
Hello Kitty is part of the family and takes her role very seriously.
She:
* Is always hungry
* Enjoys affection on her terms
* Supervises movie nights from nearby
* Believes every room belongs to her
* Will love you endlessly if you bring treats
If cats aren’t your thing, this won’t be the right fit.
⸻
🌟 Who This Home Suits
This house works best for people who:
* Are tidy, respectful, and pitch in
* Love cats 🐾
* Are social but also value downtime
* Aren’t into hosting parties at home
* Enjoy shared meals, chilled evenings, and the odd after-work drink
* Want to live with people, not just alongside them
You don’t need to be best friends overnight — but you should want to be part of the household.
⸻
🏡 About the House
The house is fully furnished and ready to live in — no need to bring furniture or start from scratch.
It has:
* A separate, cosy living room made for couch time
* A fully stocked kitchen (proper pots, pans, and everything you need)
* A private entrance (shoes-off home)
* A shared bathroom for the two available rooms
* A lovely garden with seating, a shed, and a braai — very important 🇿🇦☀️
It’s warm, practical, and genuinely feels like home.
⸻
🛏️ The Rooms
Two furnished rooms, very similar in size — just different views.
Room 1
Bright and airy, overlooking the residential road. Comes with a single bed (can be swapped), wardrobe, drawers, bedside tables, and mirror.
Room 2
Overlooks the garden 🌿 and has a double bed with storage, drawers and a 3 drawer bedside unit.
⸻
🖤 Day-to-Day Life
Friends and family are welcome. We use a shared calendar for visitors and plans, and the aim is an easy, inclusive household where everyone feels comfortable and at home.
⸻
📍 Location
