Attached on one side to the cathedral, this airy ex-vicarage with its own entrance is carpeted in soft, neutral colours from which we have styled a both comfortable & fashionable home.
As a tenant you will have shared use of:
• A huge open-plan kitchen with all appliances (great for cooking),
• a large dining room with seating for 12 people (great for dinner parties!),
• an equally spacious living room and tv room (great for catching up with friends or just watching Netflix),
• high-speed fibre broadband,
• a cleaner once per week,
• a laundry room with new washer (though no dryer) and
• two full and one half bathrooms (3 bathrooms contain: 1 bath, 1 shower, 1 separate guest loo).
There are 4 double bedrooms.
Three of us live here currently and we are looking for a fourth. We are open to non-racist, non-homophobic, non-misogynist, non-ableist people who are thoughtful, open-minded and willing to unpack conflict rather than run, hide or shout. Our ideal would be a vegetarian, non-smoker, thoughtful, professional women. But these are flexible because we are looking for the right person: someone who will gel with us and become our friend, and help this dynamic feel like family.
This house is very much a home. And we would expect you to treat it as such. We are friends and we love a house dinner or Saturday morning brunch, AND we value our independence and solitude.
The shared areas have some of our furniture but being very spacious, may have room for yours. You will need to furnish your bedroom.
The location is outstanding.
We are less than half a mile to the Northern line (both branches), Victoria, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan, District and Bakerloo lines - plus national rail at Euston. Or if you're heading to the city you can stroll to Soho for drinks, Regent’s Park for picnics and Marylebone High Street for cafes and shopping.
Basically, if you’re a professional who’s taking advantage of what this city has to offer but likes a stylish oasis of calm right in the middle of it, this is for you.
Our home is a spacious sanctuary from the mad pace of London life. Without seeing it, it’s difficult to believe it could exist in this location, at this price. Somehow we found it! Now we’re willing to share that good fortune with new future friends.
