Description
Hi,
I am a friendly, fun and respectful person and I live a healthy lifestyle. I am a classical musician though I don’t play anymore. I have studied Music, French, Spanish and Italian. I am currently learning German. I love cycling out and about, or hopping on the train to Waterloo to the theatre, to meet friends, or to see a concert. Central London is very easy to reach by train from Barnes which runs through Vauxhall for the Victoria Line and direct to Waterloo station.
The room is available for one summer month only from 06/08/26 to 06/09/26. This is a shared house with two permanent residents and guests who stay here too. There is one shy, elderly Maine Coon cat who lives with me. The compact room is small but comfortable, with a double bed, a Tempur mattress, a fitted wardrobe, a 32” Samsung TV. Please note there is no central heating, though there is hot running water. There are 3 bath/ shower rooms in the house. There is a toilet on the first floor and on the ground floor for your use. The shower to be used is on the ground floor. This is a clean, tidy, respectful house. Please note we are early birds here, we go to bed early, and therefore we are looking for someone who lives by day and not by night and who can respect the 11pm to 7am quiet hours.
The kitchen is modern, with a microwave, air fryer, oven, fridge freezer, toaster, Zip tap for instant hot and cold filtered water. There is a beautiful courtyard garden to the rear of the property which can be accessed on request. There is a lovely view of the garden from the bedroom window.
The EPC rating is “C”, the Council Tax band is “F”. The bills are included in the rent.
The bus stop for the 265 to Putney underground station, the 419, the 493 to Richmond is 2 just minutes walk away. Barnes station is 15/20 minutes walk away/ 3 bus stops away. Roehampton University is 2 minutes walk away. Queen Mary’s Hospital is 5 minutes walk away. Richmond Park, Kew Gardens, Barnes Wetlands, and Wimbledon are all nearby and are wonderful for picnics, walking, cycling, wildlife.
The house is on a road that has very little traffic at night.
