Room available in a three bed flat in Rotherhithe area from 29th of September.

Location:
The house is located on the riverfront with the flat on the third (top) floor of the building. In a quiet area with the river and parks nearby. There is also the Surrey Quays Shopping Centre and Tesco Superstore in the area, and Co-op around the corner.
Rotherhithe Overground and Canada Water underground stations are close by so you will have great connection to the city. There is also a bus stop at the doorstep and a pier for quick Uber boat trip to Canary Wharf.

The flat:
You will be sharing the flat with myself and Carmela, both working professionals. We’ve lived in this flat for a year now and are looking for somebody to take up a room that will become available as our current housemate is leaving. We’re both easy going, Carmela is going to a concert and hanging out with a group of friends on a Saturday night kind of person. While the things that I’m currently into are running, and playing tennis.
The flat has been recently refurbished and is very tidy and modern. There are three bedrooms in total, two of which (mine and the available room) share a bathroom. There is also a big living room and kitchen space with views onto River Thames. We have a good relationship with our landlady and she is very responsive and caring.
We also have a car parking space and a place to store a bike.

The room:
The room has a double bed, wardrobe, and a chest of draws. There is a separate big cupboard outside the room available for additional storage and a big loft space for less frequently used items. The room has direct views of the river as well, and is very quiet at night.

Rent, bills and contract:
The rent is £960 per month. Additionally, the bills typically are around £120 per month, higher in the winter season due to heating.
You would be signing up for a 12 month AST contract with a £1153 deposit.

About you:
We are looking for a working professional. Non smoker. We do not have a cleaner and expect you to be a tidy person who doesn’t leave a mess, can take care of their own room and look after the shared spaces. We love this flat and treat is as our home. We are looking for somebody with the same mindset. This is not a party house.

Minimum requirements to pass the background/ credit checks:
- right to rent in the UK
- Minimum annual salary of £36000
- No negative credit history
- Previous landlord reference
