Description
Hello, I am moving out to live with my partner, so will need a new girlie to take over!
The flat:
A 2bed2bath modern apartment with a south-facing balcony, think lost of sunshine ☀️ all year round, at the border of Canada Water and Surrey Quays on a quiet street. There are also multiple local shops, cafes and restaurants nearby.
Here’s what my soon to be ex-flatmate has to say:
Hi there, I am a consultant in her early 30s and have been in London for 12+ years. I usually tend to WFH 2-3 days a week. I am quite laid-back, easy going , tidy and clean. I am looking for the same qualities in a flatmate. Some of my interests include tennis, art, museums, galleries, travelling, and exploring the city. Always on the hunt for hidden gems 💎 Workday evenings tend to be more chilled and I like unwinding down by cooking a delicious meal or going to an interesting event - e. g. theater, movies.
I would like a household, where we can spend time going for dinners, doing activities together or having a chilled night in. Equally, I cherish some ‘me time’. I have a solid friend circle, so I will be spending some of my free time with them.
I am looking for the same qualities in a flatmate. If you like the sound of my description, get in touch and we can take it from there! 🙌🏼
The area:
The area immediate to Canada Water station is getting its buzz. You have Decathlon , some padel courts, Vagabond (for all the wine lovers) , Corner Corner for co-working and events.
🌳 Green spaces all around. Close to Southwark Park - perfect for a run and/or some tennis. Deptford Park is close by too. A 15-minute cycle east will get you to Greenwich.
🏄🏻♀️ Surrey Quays - great for water sports during the summer, calm walks near the water any time of the year, and a great view of Canary Wharf!
🛒 A Tesco Extra and a LIDL, both 10 mins away, and multiple smaller shops nearby.
🚇 Canada Water Tube Station , Surrey Quays Overground Station Greenland Pier (Uber boat stop) all within a 10-15 walk + multiple buses (188,47) that can take you to Greenwich, London Bridge and beyond.
📝The details:
The room comes furnished- double bed, huge wardrobe, bedside table, a shelf, and a desk. You will have a massive bathroom to yourself, as the other bedroom is ensuite.
Rent: 1125
Bills: Come to around 140 with ~30 for heating in the colder months
Move-in date: 29.11
Minimum earnings: 40 000 (mandated by the agency)
The landlords are renting out through an agency, so you will need to pass referencing checks.
