Spacious Room Available in London Flat: Flexible, possible short-term let.
Hello!
I'm looking to rent out my room. There's flexibility on the duration as I'm living with family for the time being. The room is available full-time, Monday to Sunday.
We’'re open to shorter or longer stays (anywhere from a few weeks to 7 months).
The Flat
You'll be living with my childhood best friend, Helen. She's a nursery school educator who works long hours but is extremely considerate and will make you feel at home.
With Helen working long hours, you'll have free rein of the flat from Monday to Friday, including mornings, afternoons, and some evenings. This setup is particularly beneficial if you work from home.
Helen is not a partier but enjoys a social drink. She's a fantastic cook and baker, so you might get to enjoy some of her delicious creations. On occasions when I visit London, I'll stay in Helen’s bedroom and keep disruptions to a minimum.
The Bedroom
The room features:
- A double bed with storage underneath
- A spacious wardrobe
- A small bedside table
- A desk with storage underneath
- A posture-boosting, super comfortable swing chair for work-from-home days
The bed comes with a mattress protector and a mattress topper, and we can provide an additional foam topper if needed. The room has two dual-aspect windows, with the largest one facing west, ensuring plenty of afternoon and evening sun.
The Rest of the Flat
The kitchen is fully equipped. The living area includes:
- A 55-inch TV with Chromecast
- A washing machine
- A mini dishwasher (we typically hand wash but can link the dishwasher to the tap)
- An artist's desk that can be used for work or dining
- A comfortable sofa that converts into a double bed for guests
The living room and large balcony are south-facing, ensuring the flat gets lots of sunlight. The hallway and living room offer ample storage space. We also have Alexa in both the living room and bedroom, controlling the lamp, TV, and more, including colour-changing fairy lights.
The Balcony
The large south-facing balcony is a sun-soaked oasis, even at this time of year. It features a soft rocking chair and table, with foldaway chairs for guests.
Access
You're free to use all parts of the flat except Helen's bedroom. Please treat the space as your own.
