Description

AREA: Seven Sisters, N15. 10 minutes to Seven Sisters and Tottenham Hale Stations. 5 minutes to Tottenham Hale Retail Park which has a Lidl, B&M and Iceland as well as a range of other shops. 10 minutes to Tesco.

ROOM: Good sized double room, furnished as in the photos (Double bed with under-bed storage drawers, mattress, bedside table, clothes rail, futon/chair, cube shelving unit & desk). We're happy to be flexible with this, our current flatmate is leaving her furniture so if you don't want some of it we can organise for things to be removed.

HOUSE: We live in a 2-bed flat on the second floor of a block. The living room has a large sofa, perfect for cosy movie nights, as well as a 6-seater dining table and glass doors leading to a private balcony. The kitchen has an oven, air fryer, toaster, fridge and a washing machine (no dryer, dishwasher or microwave). The recently renovated bathroom has a bath/shower, sink and toilet as well as plenty of storage. There are two storage cupboards in the hallway that are shared. The building also has a shared garden that all residents are welcome to use.

You'll be sharing the space with me (34, she/her), my partner (32, he/him) and our dog Goose, a small (8kg) border collie mix. I'm a graphic designer, D&D nerd and aspiring illustrator, my partner is an elder emo and a hot wheels enthusiast. We are a queer couple (I am pan and my partner is trans), so would prefer to find someone else queer to share our home. We are in the house a lot, I work from home 4 days a week and my partner is currently unable to work due to health issues. We're both neurodivergent and would welcome others on the spectrum. We'd be happy to live with someone who wants to participate in meals and socialising but would also be fine with someone who prefers to keep to their own space. Goose is not allowed in the bedrooms and we have a gate installed to keep him out of the hallway except when heading out for walks. He is well behaved, fully house-trained, very rarely barks at home and he is also crate-trained and sleeps in his crate at night.

We're generally quite quiet at home, although we do have people round on occasion for dinner and drinks and would be fine with our housemate doing the same as long as we are informed in advance and guests are respectful of the space (this is not a party house). Smoker friendly (on the balcony only).

TENANCY: Available from 1 April 2026. Monthly rolling contract, but we'd love to find someone to live here long-term if the chemistry is right!

Rent: £600 per month plus £50 for bills, unfortunately we can't accept anyone receiving benefits. We will require a £300 deposit for the room.

ACCESS: The flat is on the second floor of a low-rise block, there is no lift in the building so it is not accessible for anyone who can't manage stairs. The flat itself is on one floor, but the shower is over the bath so requires the ability to climb over the side.
