Description
Hi, I'm Frankie (29F) and I'm looking for new housemates to join a shared house in Seven Sisters.
Looking for people who are considerate, easygoing, and comfortable with shared living. Ideally am searching for people who naturally keep communal spaces reasonably clean and tidy and are happy to share responsibilities without being overly strict about it. Would like to create a household with a friendly vibe that is nice to come home to :)
Move in date 20th May.
Queer-friendly, work from home-friendly.
About me:
I'm a humanities PhD student, into films, theatre, cooking. A bit introverted but am also up for an occasional pub trip or movie night. I tend to work hybrid so a mix of work from home/uni.
About the room:
Room is on the ground floor, same layout as Room B (see pics). Double room with window on to garden. Comes with double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers.
About the house:
Four bedroom house with shared living room, decent sized private garden, bathroom + additional toilet, utility room with separate washing machine and dryer, kitchen with bar-style seating and dishwasher.
Relatively quiet street.
On-street parking space available (requires paid permit from council, I think approx. £65/year).
Various neighbourhood cats who like to come and visit.
About the area:
Approx. 10 minute walk to Seven Sisters tube station (Victoria line and Weaver line Overground)
15 min walk to Bruce Grove (Weaver line Overground)
15 min walk to South Tottenham (Suffragette line Overground)
Close to Seven Sisters High Road (15 min walk to Tesco, Superdrug, Post Office, etc)
Various nice pubs and cafes nearby, as well as three parks within walking distance.
Leisure centre and gym at the end of the road (though admittedly not the nicest).
Bills not included - £150 per month for gas and electric, council tax, broadband, water
Council tax band D
Property is managed by HAM Estates but also have contact with the landlord.
New Renter's Rights Act means there is not a fixed contract length but am ideally looking for people who would like to stay at least a year.
If you're interested and think we'd be a good fit, please get in touch!
Would be great to know a bit about you, what you're looking for in a house.
