Spacious Double Room Available in W12

Hello, we are Miranda (33), Tom (45) and Marc (40).

Miranda & Tom live in the loft (second floor) but work in Ireland so only come home occasionally - even less so at the moment due to COVID.

Marc will be your main housemate. He lives on the first floor next to your (future) bedroom - you'll be sharing a very nice bathroom with him. He is VERY house-proud, clean and tidy and has filled the house with beautiful plants.

We are all very friendly and enjoy socialising but there's no pressure either way. We respect each other's space and keep shared areas tidy and clean.

Because Tom and Miranda are away most of the time, we are open to having a couple move in, as long as you get on well with Marc - he will be the final decider! The rent for a couple will be £1,350 p/month (instead of £900 for a single person).

Your bathroom has a sink, loo and bath/shower combo - recently refitted and great water pressure. The front bedroom (yours) is the more spacious one but you do get the streetlight and a little ambient street noise (garbage collection on Monday mornings).

The back of the house overlooks sprawling gardens and allotments, which is lovely especially in the spring/summer. We have a very small garden, which Marc has made a LOT more appealing in the last year.

Kitchen is fully equipped and we have a dishwasher. Washing machine is in the garden shed to muffle the noise - sadly no dryer but there is a clothes horse pulley system attached to your bathroom ceiling.

Local amenities are pretty good - we have a small Sainsbury's 5 mins walk away, and plenty of local shops at the end of the road for fresh fruit/veg. Westfield (plus cinemas) are 15-20 mins walk or a short bus ride - lots of buses. Local pubs are really nice (in fact, our favourite local features heavily in Guy Richie's new film "The Gentlemen!") and a couple of GREAT breakfast spots, too.

We have nice friends in the neighbourhood and on our street, so no lack of opportunities to socialise and meet new people, even if we prefer the house to be more of a peaceful sanctuary - definitely not a party house.
