The room is technically unfurnished, though our current housemate is happy to leave the bed and mattress free of charge. The bed has two drawers beneath it for storage, and she uses the cupboard under the stairs as her wardrobe 😊
The house is situated on a pretty street in Shepherd’s Bush and is incredibly well-connected to Central London. White City (Central) and Shepherd’s Bush Market (H&S line) tube stations are a 15-minute walk away and in a further 5 minutes, you will find Shepherd’s Bush station (Central and Overground). There’s lots to do in the area with a lovely restaurant just a stone’s throw away on our road (perfect for brunch!), a great pub and the incredibly handy Westfield shopping centre which makes Deliveroo food choices the absolute dream. Close proximity to the local park and Revenscourt Park is about a 15 minute walk away. There’s a Sainsbury’s and a Co-op very close by and if you’re feeling extra fancy there is a good-sized Waitrose or M&S located in Westfield.
Bright and well-sized, the house is perfect for all seasons. The bi-folding kitchen doors lead out to a large decking area which is brilliant for dining outside during the summer. The living room is separate from the kitchen and both are great sizes. It’s also important to note that the kitchen area has an electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and other useful appliances.
You will be living with two lovely girls (if we do say so ourselves). Gaby - who works in retail marketing and has lived in the house for 4 years, and Sive, who works in university admissions and moved in just over a year ago. We love nights in together and we're looking for somebody to join this lovely homely set-up for wine & movie nights. We keep the house very clean and are looking for someone who does the same.
The rent is £690 PCM, bills excluded. Council Tax Band E - currently we each pay approx £100 in bills. Should you have a car, there is free parking on the street at weekends and you will need to buy a parking permit if you plan on having the car during the week (£119 per year).
