Description
This is a two bedroom flat on the lovely tree-lined Godolphin Road in Shepherds Bush.
Aside from the bedrooms, there is a bathroom, kitchen, living and dining area to share, and 1 small room I use as an office.
There is a washing machine, broadband and TV. I only use the TV for the odd film or special sports event and honestly would prefer to keep it that way; If you like watching lots of TV please look elsewhere.
Shepherds Bush is the perfect place if you like a laid back vibe. There are plenty of restaurants serving food from all over the world, trendy cafes, pubs galore, shops (high street, market and Westfield Shopping Centre) , music venues, gyms and parks - Ravenscourt Park is really nice to walk around every so often; you can also play tennis and football there.
8 minute walk to Shepherds Bush Market Station (Hammersmith and City, and Circle Line).
15 minute walk to Shepherds Bush Station (Overground and Central Line)
20 minute walk to Hammersmith Station (Piccadilly and District Lines)
Bus stops on each end of Godolphin Road (Bloemfontein Road, St Stephens Avenue)
Unless you have a fold bike, the flat is not great for keeping bicycles because you have to go up narrow stairs to enter.
As for me, I am an LSE master's graduate in international history and I work in executive search. I've spent a couple of years living in Beijing. I'm calm, sociable and bookish so I love a good conversation about philosophy, politics and culture.
I live with my girlfriend, who is Hungarian and has been living in England for seven years. She currently works in PR and communications. Also very calm and easy-going.
Ideally I am looking for someone who is working (and not always WFH), is reasonably clean and tidy, sociable, but not a party animal.
