Rent - £600 (cheapest you’ll find in this area and probably in London)

Deposit - £784 but Spareroom won’t let me put that number in

Bills - In summer probably around £80 in total, roughly £100 in winter when heating comes on.

For reference, I’ve lived here for 3 years now and have really loved it. I’m moving out of my room in the house because I’ve changed jobs and my needs have changed!

Major sell here is the housemates and the general area.

Housemates: all around 30 years old. Social but also are on our own individual grind and work 9-5 so there is that level of independence as well in the house. We like to go to pub quizzes together every once in a while, have movie nights, go out for our birthdays and generally make time for each other.

We all make effort to keep the house clean and tidy. We do this by an organised cleaning schedule.

Area - it’s a special area because you have the cultural, diverse mix of Shepherd’s Bush on one side. On the other side you have the picturesque architecture of Holland Park and the famous Notting Hill. You also have Kensington high street all about 15-20 mins walk away from the house. So it’s a real nice balance, which I’ve loved during my time here.

Sainsbury’s, Lidl, Poundland and other shops are a 2 minute walk away so shopping is super easy. Lest I forget you even have Westfield right across the road!

Transport - Literally the best transport links as you have;

Central line 2 mins away which gets you into central in 10 minutes.
Overground is 2 minutes away
Hammersmith and city line 10 mins away
District line 15 mins away

Room - Room is on the cosier side but if you’re not someone who needs loads of space then it works perfectly. You have your own personal shower right next to the room which no one else uses, as well as full use of the storage room however you wish. I use it for my clothes and shoes, and there are some general house things in there like vacuum cleaner but apart from that it’s all yours.

House - Nice open Plan kitchen/ living room. Huge garden too with a bbq outside so that’s always nice in the spring/ summer.
