Charming Victorian House in Prime Shepherd's Bush Location – Short Let

Available from November through to the end of February, with flexible dates. The minimum stay is one month, and the maximum stay is around four months, though this may be negotiable depending on circumstances.

This beautifully presented and generously proportioned Victorian home is arranged over three floors and is situated on one of Shepherd’s Bush’s most desirable residential streets. Retaining many original period features, the house offers a perfect blend of charm, comfort, and practicality, making it an ideal temporary base for individuals, couples, or families looking to experience London living in a vibrant and well-connected area.

Inside, the house comprises two elegant reception rooms with high ceilings and period details, and a bright, spacious kitchen-diner which opens directly onto a private garden through French doors – ideal for relaxing or entertaining. There are two double bedrooms and one single bedroom. The family bathroom includes a walk-in shower, a bathtub, WC, and washbasin. In addition, there is a second shower room with WC and washbasin, as well as a separate guest WC. Off-street parking is available for one medium-sized car. The home has a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout, thanks to its charming original features and thoughtfully arranged living spaces.

Please note that two friendly resident cats live on the property and will need to be cared for during your stay – all food and care supplies will be provided. As such, this property is only suitable for cat lovers. If you are allergic to or uncomfortable around cats, please do not enquire.

The property accommodates up to five people, including children. It is best suited to individuals, couples, or families. No agents or company lets, please.

The location offers excellent transport links and easy access to central London and beyond. Shepherd’s Bush Market station (Hammersmith & City Line) is just a 6-minute walk away, with Shepherd’s Bush station (Central Line and Overground) only 10 minutes on foot. Goldhawk Road station (Hammersmith & City/Circle Line) is also close by, and there are several major bus routes just moments from the house. Travel to Heathrow Airport, Eurostar at St Pancras, and all major rail terminals is straightforward and convenient.

Distances to key London landmarks by public transport are approximately as follows: Westfield London shopping mall is a 5-minute walk, Hyde Park can be reached in about 20 minutes, Oxford Street in 20 to 25 minutes, and Portobello Road Market in 15 minutes. Big Ben and Westminster are around 25 to 30 minutes away, Buckingham Palace and the British Museum can both be reached in about 30 minutes, while Camden Market is roughly 35 minutes and the Tower of London about 40 minutes. Kensington Palace and Gardens are just 20 minutes away.

You’ll find a wide array of restaurants, cafés, pubs, and independent shops right on your doorstep. The Bush Theatre, an acclaimed venue for contemporary theatre, is just a few minutes’ walk, as is the iconic O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire for live music.
