Description
Hi future flat mate,
My two current flatmates are both moving out to live with family so there are two rooms in our spacious three bed, 2 bathroom flat. It has a lovely balcony which gets plenty of sun in the summer. The flat is split level across the first and second floor of a mid terrace house. It has a large shared living room and a separate utility room.
The flat is well connected being a 15 minute walk from Shepherd Bush station (central line), Shepherd Bush Market (Circle, and Hammersmith and City) and Ravenscourt Park station (District) and 20 minutes from Hammersmith (Piccadilly). It also has the night buses N94 and N207 if you find yourself stuck in central London.
If you like going for long walks at the weekend or going for runs, the flat is close to Ravenscourt Park and the river for those scenic weekend routes.
There are also several coffee shops, cafes for brunch and restaurants all within walking distance.
About me:
I am 28, I have lived in London for 2 and a half years and I am a chartered accountant. In my free time I like to go to the gym, run and watch rugby. I try to watch Leicester Tigers play as often as possible. I have recently started learning to dance Ceroc and I have recently got back into cooking.
The Rooms:
Room 1 -
The first room is a double room on the first floor with plenty of storage. It comes furnished with a double bed, desk and wardrobe. It also has several inbuilt shelves on the wall for additional storage.
The bathroom on the first floor is for the primary use of the person in this room as the two other rooms share one upstairs. This isn't quite a private ensuite as all bathrooms can be used by all tenants but Helen (currently in room 2) and I very rarely use this bathroom. It is used for the occasional bath by us only. I aim for this to carry on with whoever takes over the two spare rooms.
Room 2 - This has been reserved pending checks by the letting agent
The second room is upstairs and comes with a double bed, built in storage and two windows with large ledges making the room bright and airy. This room also comes with some shelving and a bedside table.
Whoever takes this room will share the bathroom upstairs with me. This does not have a bath, only a shower which is why we have occasionally used the first bathroom for a bath.
The current rent for both rooms is £1,200 per month. This includes bills at approximately £200 per person and all shared products such as cleaning, light bulbs, broadband etc. This is based on the flat being rented by a total of three people.
This flat comes with no deposit but there is a monthly fee for this of up to £20.
The property is managed by Portico and any problems are raised on their portal.
All incoming tenants must meet the following criteria per Portico's rules:
Earn in excess of 2.5x your share of the rent (currently £1,000 if three people are in the flat)
Be in full time employment or self employment for 12 months and have submitted a tax return.
They must also be able to provide:
Full name (as appears on passport)
Phone number
Email
Job Title
Company
Length of time at the company
Salary
Current address
Time at current address
