Lovely single room available in a beautiful, modernised 5-bedroom family home in Vauxhall for a tidy, quiet, non-smoking lodger. No gender preference, but we are a best fit for a lodger who is extremely tidy and happy to respect our family's house rules.
Close to Stockwell, Nine Elms, and Vauxhall tubes (zone 1/2), Vauxhall British Rail, and several direct buses to central London. Area has several parks, sports facilities, riverside pubs, restaurants and good amenities, and the fantastic South Bank and Battersea Power Station are a short stroll away.
Room recently decorated with new contemporary furniture including a wardrobe, desk and drawers, and you will have use of an adjacent bathroom (shared with 1-2 others), good broadband, a cloakroom and pantry, and access to a huge modern kitchen and breakfast bar (until 20:15 each day).
The house decor is contemporary, gorgeous and luxurious, we are a clean and tidy shoes-off home. You will be sharing our house with our small family of 3, and at times another young professional. You will be responsible for cleaning your room, taking turns to clean your shared bathroom, and keeping the kitchen-diner clean and tidy after each time you use it.
Would best suit a young professional or mature student, perfect if you want a quiet, comfortable time! We are looking for a tidy, quiet, lodger (i. e. this is not a house-share), we prefer a female lodger, but are open to anyone for whom we'd be a great fit!
Room available from early September, minimum stay 2 months, rent £800 per calendar month plus £120 in bills, TOTAL £920pcm
PLEASE NOTE: our lodgers really appreciate the comfort, tidiness and cleanliness of our family home (lodgers have typically stayed 1-2 years). However as we are a family with 2 kids and an open-plan kitchen/living area, our place suits people not looking to cook all their dinners at home, (hence kitchen access until 20:15 every day), and not looking to host additional guests.
