Small double room in spacious flat

Lovely double room in large Edwardian flat in South Norwood, 5 minute walk from Norwood Junction station. The flat has new hardwood floors throughout and is freshly painted. There are four bedrooms, two of which are occuped (the fourth will remain as a study, so not too cramped). There's a good-sized living room with Sky and Apple TV, a well-appointed kitchen (brand new Smeg oven - I do love baking!), wi-fi, good storage throughout the flat and a big back yard :) There's also two bathrooms so no horrible queues for the shower in the morning.

You'd be sharing with two very laid back professionals and three extremely affectionate cats. Whoever moves in would have to like animals as they're not going anywhere :) I'm the owner/landlord - I'm 35, an Aussie, and work as an analyst in the public sector, and Brian is an actual rocket scientist :) It's important to us that whoever moves in is as respectful of others as we will be of you, as this is our home and we want it to remain a happy one! We're quite liberal, Guardian-reading types with the occasional hippy tendency, and well-developed senses of humour.

The transport connections are excellent - we're a five minute walk from Norwood Junction station, with high speed connections to London Bridge (12 minutes), as well as the East London line and direct trains to Victoria. There's also a wide selection of buses and local supermarkets.

The room isn't enormous but has plenty of space for one person - it's not big enough for a couple. It's furnished with a chest of drawers, bedside table, wardrobe and very comfy double bed, all of which is new in the last 6-12 months. Would probably be more appealing to a girl but we're not bothered about gender (or sexuality, for that matter).

This is a great houseshare, the rent is £450 including all bills (except phone calls) and there's residents' parking outside on the quiet street.
