Hello! I have one double room available in a spacious semi-detached house with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 receptions. The top floor bedroom will be available Friday 24th July onwards.
The double room comes with 2 wardrobes, a double bed and a bed side cabinet. I have added a picture of previous set up.
There are two bathrooms in the house so you’ll be sharing a bathroom with only one other person. There’s also a large living room with a TV, and a huge kitchen cum Dining Room. The 5th bedroom is used for Ironing, coats, drying clothes and storing the hoover. There's also a large garden at the rear of the property.
This is a tidy and clean house, so if you are untidy or leave dirty plates in your room overnight this isn’t the right place for you. There's a cleaner that comes twice a month (at no extra cost to you). There's also off street parking and a lowered curb.
The current tenants are lovely and have been living there a while (9 years, 3 years and 1 year respectively). Ideally this home would suit a considerate, friendly, tidy professional but fairly open minded, mature students could work too. The housemates have a preference for a female tenant. References will be required.
In terms of location, it's a 4 min walk to Selhurst Station and 12 min walk to Norwood Junction Station. The best thing about Selhurst train station is that you can get trains all through the night hourly from Victoria as the train drivers alight here as the Selhurst Depot is nearby. From Selhurst, you can get to Victoria in 25mins and East Croydon in 5mins (and then on to Gatwick in 15mins). From Norwood Junction, you can get to London Bridge in 15mins and Shoreditch on the Overground in around 35mins. Buses 50, 468, N68, 157 and 75 are all 5 mins walk from the house too.
In the local area there’s a Big Sainsburys 10 minutes walk away, a small Co-op and a Tesco Express. There’s also a big Tesco about 20 minutes away or a few stops by Bus.
Rent is inclusive of a bi monthly cleaner, Wi-Fi and council tax. Bills (Gas, Water, Electricity and communal sundries) are split between the 4 members of the house each calendar month.
