Looking for someone to take over my lovely room in 2-bedroom flat from 5th October (some flexibility on start date) for at least one month, or longer term (deposit will be slightly lower for short term let).

The room is a large double fully furnished with a double bed and loads of storage (very large floor to ceiling wardrobe + big chest of drawers).

The flat is beautifully decorated with a large and bright living / dining room, a south facing balcony (gets lots of sun with plenty of pots for anyone keen on some balcony gardening), a well-equipped modern kitchen and recently decorated bathroom. There’s also a desk in the living room for use if you work from home.

The flat is in a great area, well connected with lots of amenities nearby, including:

• Excellent transport links, located in between Seven Sisters (Victoria line, 9 mins walk) and Stamford Hill (Overground line to Liverpool Street Station, 10 mins), Manor House (Piccadilly line, 15 mins) and South Tottenham Overground (17 mins).

• Buses 259 and 279 a 2 min walk away running to Finsbury park and Kings Cross. Buses 67, 253 and 254 a 6-8 min walk, running to Hackney and Dalston.

• Nearest supermarkets Tesco express (10 min walk) or Sainsburys local (15 min walk).

• Near to cafes, shops and restaurants on West Green Road (15 min walk), Harringay Green Lanes (20 min walk), and Stoke Newington Church Street (30 mins walk).

• Located very close to the new river path with easy access to green spaces including Woodberry wetlands & café (8 min walk), Finsbury park (15 mins) and Clissold park (30 mins).

• Also nearby are a More Yoga studio and 2 gyms (10 min walk) West Reservoir (for outdoor swimming) and the Castle Climbing Centre (both 20-25 min walk).

Looking for someone friendly, tidy and considerate who wants to make the flat their home, even if for a short time. Ideally you would be a warm, easy going human who’s up for a chat, potentially sharing the occasional diner / glass of wine together is an added bonus but not essential. Open to professionals or a mature student.

You’ll be sharing with Aileen (F, 28) who works in production and editing, originally from Ireland but has spent many years living in the Netherlands, friendly and social but also appreciates the need for downtime, and enjoys film, arts and culture, travel and a good TV show.
Bills aren’t included but usually come to maximum £200 ppm including council tax (band C), gas, electric, water and internet + includes a cleaner who comes every other week.
