NO COUPLES/SHARERS/STUDENTS - Tenancy Agreement Requirements!
I have lived in this flat for over 5 years already and my current flat mate is now moving on to pastures new. I'm staying and to reduce costs I'm looking for someone to join me in this well situated flat. Transport links are good - Southfields tube is just up the road, 39 & 156 buses run from just round the corner and the N87 comes past too for night owls.
I work in the Creative Industry (Theatre, TV & Film) and I'll probably get on best with someone in the same or similar field. I work in Theatre during the day and at night I do my own stuff, so I may not always be around!
Maybe you're looking for somewhere to stay in the week for work - I'm open to possibilities.
It's not a party house, more of a refuge from the madness which is 10 mins down the road in Clapham Junction or 35 mins on the tube in town.
The room itself is a Double and has a Double Bed (will need a new mattress) and I can supply a hanging rail & small chest of drawers - but these (rail & drawers) can also be removed if you have your own furniture. Talk to me to discuss options/possibilities! We rented the flat 'unfurnished' so everything you see in the pictures we brought with us.
Washing machine in the Kitchen, Laundrette down the road.
I don't mind if you smoke, I vape myself, but the Tenancy agreements means you'll have to smoke outside.
There is off street parking if you have a car.
I'm 56, which means I'm probably in 'old fart' territory for most of you, but I don't tend to behave like a lot of 56 year olds I know. Meet me and see if we're compatible flatmates!
The contract will run for a year and then probably become a 'rolling contract' as it just did with my current flatmate.
Bills are on top of the rent and you can expect it to be about £220-250 p/m each for Electric, +Water, +Council Tax & +EE Internet. COUNCIL TAX BAND D
*As you're probably aware Utility Bills are fluctuating wildly, so please be ready for the Bills to change accordingly*.
If you're amenable I'd like to get a cleaner in too.
