Double room in lovely Stamford Hill garden flat

Lovely double room available in a 2-bed flat, 3 minute's walk from Stamford Hill station. The room is furnished with a double bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe (not pictured). Available from January 2025 for 3-6 months only.

THE FLAT
The flat is on a quiet leafy street and has a big living room (with feature stained glass window), new bathroom, bright kitchen with all appliances including dishwasher, and a good sized garden. Photos are a bit old so decoration has changed but it's similar (no antlers on the walls!)

Pets welcome (one fluffy cat is moving out). Space to store one bike in the hallway.

We currently have a cleaner fortnightly which we pay for on top of rent and bills. All other bills are included in rent.

AREA
Seven sisters station (Victoria line) is a 15 minute walk or 6 mins via the overground from Stamford Hill. Manor House (Piccadilly line) is an 8 min bus. Finsbury Park (Victoria and Piccadilly lines and national rail) is a 10 min bus.

Loads of green spaces in walking distance and good access to all of North East London via the overground. Stoke Newington Church Street with loads of cafes, restaurants etc is 25min walk or less than 10min bike.

FLATMATE
I'm Katie, I've lived here for 5 years and own the flat with my sister. I've had a wonderful flatmate (and his cat) since 2020 who is moving out for health reasons. We've become close friends and both treat the flat as our sanctuary, occasionally having friends round for dinner, movie nights and BBQs in the summer. In my spare time I go to the gym, play softball, and get to live music and comedy gigs

Work-wise, I'm a 9-5 NHS worker and currently work from the flat's living room 3 days a week. Happy to discuss flexible working if you're also home-based. The bedroom may fit a small desk if needed - though my current housemate also works in the living room.

I'm only looking to rent for 3-6 months maximum, as my boyfriend is hopefully moving in after that.

LGBTQIA+ friendly flat. I'm happy to avoid having meat at home if you're veggie or vegan.
