the house vibes:
💫chilled and friendly environment
💫meeting over coffee/tea/drinks/biscuits once a month to talk about what's working and what isn't, to discuss the vibes and just to catch up!
💫everyone is busy - we often work long hours on different schedules, and have our own hobbies and social lives as well as need for alone time - but we are also keen to spend intentional social time as a house (eg going to drag shows/going for a drink/having coffee in the living room/etc) in addition to chance encounters in communal spaces
💫we have friends round to hang out, and occasionally throw small parties, but on the whole are not a huge party house though we do like going out to club nights/parties/shows
about you:
♥️leftist, LGBT+, anti zionist, climate conscious

♥️clean and tidy (especially in communal areas), kind, considerate of others
♥️self reflective and an honest, upfront and mature communicator
♥️don’t smoke indoors
♥️bonus points if you’re into drag/circus/pole/theatre/cabaret

about esther:
💜I'm 26 and I'm a producer working at an animation studio in North London so I basically make silly cartoons for a living. I'd like to think I'm super chill for the most part and can get along with anyone (provided your politics aren't unfathomably horrendous haha) but deffo consider myself to be on the more introverted end of the spectrum.
💜I'm in the office Monday to Friday and work freelance as a dramaturg so I'm out and about quite a bit. When I'm not working, I like to hit up a farmers market, catch up on new film releases or go out to a gig, exhibition or play. I'm also a big chess head so I try to go to a chess club once a week and I've been taking a weekly art class which has been fun. Generally big into arts and culture and trying to be more outdoorsy, so extra points if you know how to set up a tent.
about derek:
💚24, they/them pronouns, trans
💚 theatre tech - i have quite variable working hours and even more variable amounts of time off, but when i'm not running around for work i like to go climbing, find a nice bar to read at, or go out to goth/techno nights 🖤🖤
💚 i thrive on being the sociable housemate! i will make you tea, i will make you dinner, i will talk to you about your day, i will try and convince you to come to the pub etc etc - non compulsory
💚i made friends with griffin years ago through the cabaret world, i met esther living in this house
💚 i'm jewish(-ish) and celebrate festivals at home, and sometimes host friday night dinners with friends. (because it has to be said: my faith+ethnicity exists in perfect harmony with my anti-zionist politics and the joy i take in my heritage in the diaspora)
