Room in shared flat in Stockwell

We’re looking for a friendly housemate to join our flat in Stockwell from 1st October, although we can be a little flexible on the move-in date.

The room is a furnished double and the flat is a spacious 3-bed ex-council flat with a separate living room, kitchen, small balcony, shared bathroom and separate shower room. There’s also space to store a bike.

Rent is £865 per month, with a £870 deposit. Bills are usually around £150 a month, covering Wi-Fi, water, heating and TV licence. If you’re a professional rather than a student, you’d also need to cover the council tax contribution.

Rachel: 26, Master’s student
Chen: 28, PhD student

We’re both pretty social and enjoy hanging out in the flat, watching TV, going to the pub or cinema and going out together, but it’s also a relaxed home where everyone has their own space.

We’d ideally like another student, but we’re very happy to live with a professional too. We’re mainly looking for someone who is friendly, chilled, tidy and already used to living with other people.

The flat is less than 5 minutes’ walk from Stockwell station, with both the Northern and Victoria lines. Brixton and Clapham are around a 15–20 minute walk away, and Battersea is also easy to get to.
