Description

Hi! Our flatmate is leaving and we’re looking for a new amazing tenant! The room will be available from 13th November earliest, but we can definitely be flexible until mid December.

The room is £880 per month. Bills are around £75 per month pp and council tax is £63 a month pp.

——About the flat——
The flat is situated on the third floor (with lift) and is a 2 minute walk from Stockwell station (Victoria and Northern line, both night tubes in the weekend which is sooo convenient!). The house is also only a couple of minutes walk from a Lidl, Sainsbury’s local, and a few other convenience stores. There is a large Sainsbury’s in Nine Elms which is about 15 mins away, an M&S in Brixton at 10/15 minutes.
Stockwell is a quiet area and the flat is within an estate so far away from the traffic no noise but brixton is very lively and clapham is also not too far.

The flat has a shared bathroom and separate toilet. The kitchen has a washing machine, oven, 4 gas hobs, microwave, kettle, toaster, etc.

The flat has a spacious living room with a dining table and a sofa.

——About us——
Giorgia: I’m 28, from Italy and this is my 4th year in this house! I am 2nd year PhD. I’m quite active and enjoy doing sports (I go to the gym, there is a pure gym at 5-10 min walking), cycle, run and swim (sometimes) and want to start training for a thriatlon! I’m also a big foodie, im mostly vegan and love to cook and try out new recipes. I would love to find someone that is also vegan/ vegetarian. I also enjoy electronic music and concerts. I’m into (leftwing) politics and I try to stay up to date with the news. I also recently started crochet-ing and have loads of projects in mind.

Alice : I’m 26 and from Honduras and France. I’ve lived in London since 2018 but have been in the flat for a year. I work in the creative agency in the higher education sector. I’m quite artsy and love doing collages and print making at home. I love learning new languages and travelling, but most of my weekends are spent doing yoga, cycling, walking at the local park and going to art galleries. I’m vegetarian 🌱 and queer. I’m quite involved with queer issues at work and often found at trans 🏳️‍⚧️ prides and protests. It’d be great to have a queer person / ally as a new flatmate :) I also usually have a sewing or DIY home making project on the go.

Regarding our way of living the house, we’re pretty clean and very much value tidiness and actually caring about the house and having a clean cozy space for everyone. We’re often out and about but would also love to create a good relationship and do activities together other than just sharing a space. We have always been a pretty relaxed flat with hosting guests and having people over. We have a projector and sometimes watch shows / movies together !
