Description
Hey,
After finding my flatmate Toby on Spareroom 4 years ago he's now leaving to move to Scotland :((, so I have a furnished, spacious double room available in my Stokey flat from 12th October w/ viewings from 28th Sept. Pls note that I have two pets so you need to like animals :).
Rent covers all bills including council tax. Me and Toby just split household items like cleaning bits etc. etc.
About the room & flat
Fully furnished (probably a bit too furnished lol) decent sized double w/ bed, wardrobe, dressing table/desk).
Flat is 2nd floor in a secure, friendly (for London) block w/ large living room, separate kitchen and bathroom (shower & bath). Everything's been painted/decorated pretty recently!
Zone 2. Great location & really safe area:
8 min bus ride to Finsbury Park (Victoria Line)
12 min walk to Manor House (Piccadilly Line)
12 min walk/4 min bus ride to Stoke Newington overground direct to Liverpool St
5 mins walk from Church st & Clissold Park for bars, restaurants, cafes etc.
There is street parking but you'd have to get a permit & fight with others for the best spaces
About me
I'm 36 and taking a career hiatus to do a Product Management course and a full time Nutrition and public health MSc at UCL, so I'll be studying from home/uni for the next year. I'm pretty chill when I'm at home, more of a Netflix and have a chat kinda vibe. Love a gossip in the kitchen and up for a spontaneous coffee/flat maccies/night out at eartH/day festival etc.
The flats well-looked after and v much a home.
I have a v small Chihuahua x Sausage Dog and a fluffy Ragdoll house cat. They're suspicious about strangers but once they get to know you they become attached and are not very good at personal space x
The ideal flatmate
Would love to find someone who's, gregarious, laid back, clean and able to deal with spiders as I just cannot even.
Pros about living here
- Flat has a great vibe
- The bedrooms are at opposite ends of the flat so you have your own space
- I'm good at cleaning & have good chat apparently
Cons
- the sofa is uncomfortable if you sit on it for more than 30 seconds so I'm trying to flog it on FB marketplace
- I will ask for your opinion on my outfits before I go out
- Low on storage availability
Pls send me a message if you're interested
