Description

Hello everyone.

Up for grabs is the above lovely double bedroom, fully furnished (wardrobe, couch, table, wall mounted shelves, book shelves, coffee table and chest of drawers), with a mezzanine bed, giving you additional space. The room was painted after the departure of its last tenant, so it feels extremely fresh. With a big window, and tall ceiling, it has a nice bright vibe to it, and benefits from the mellow sun in the afternoon. The room is the quietest in the house, as it is furthest from the high street (at the back, on the second floor) and looks onto some lovely green areas.

The house has all the amenities needed, including a kitchen (with new gas boiler, fridge, and laundry machine as well as a gas cooker), shower, separate toilet, and small living room, which is situated next to your room. We rarely use it, so you would be enjoying it to yourself – this is a great bonus to an already well taken care of room. We also have a flat roof that has an amazing view (great for chilling there in the summer as well) and is where we also have a few plants.

The location is amazing, as the house is located on the high street, with shops, restaurants, barbers, and surgeries in the area, with Abney Park being only a 5’ walk away, and Clissold Park being 10’. The public transport is great (even have a night bus), as we have buses taking you to Dalston in 5’, where you can take the Overground from there, and can be in the city in 15’-20’ in the city.

You will be sharing the flat with Jordan, a bartender/sculptor/handy man, Constantine, a museum exhibitions organiser, and James, a professional musician/music teacher. All three of us are very much into music, and the arts, so it would be great to share some interests with you as well. We all enjoy playing and writing music, however the house is not a loud, party place. We live harmonious, independent lives, doing our projects, but we also chill at each other’s’ rooms for a tea and a chat.

About the bills: they are about £65 a month (council tax, water, electricity, weekly and internet), and a seasonally varying gas bill which is paid quarterly (during the summer this is about £10). We also have a cleaner every week (£6), so the house is always clean and tidy.

Although the official date that we are looking for someone to move in is the 11th July, it can be available from now. The initial contract is six months, with a roll-on basis upon the end of this period.

So, if you’re interested in the place let us know a little about yourself and we’ll be looking forward to meeting you in person.

Hope the presentation was helpful, we’re looking forward to hearing from you.
