Short lets only. THIS ROOM IS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR FOUR WEEKS. FROM 1ST JUNE - 28TH JUNE. This room would suit an overseas visitor or someone who is caught between and just needs a clean, nicely furnished room to stay for a few weeks. The room is self-contained and is closest to the front door so you can come and go in private. Clean, light, airy and tranquil, it has a view of outstanding natural beauty overlooking two large lakes, sailboats, swans as well as The London Wildlife Centre which is free to enter and open to the public seven days a week. One of the two entrances to the Wildlife Centre is a two-minutes walk from the flat. It's a lovely place to walk and there is a lakeside cafe that serves breakfast and lunch.

The room is stylishly furnished with crystal chandeliers, south/west facing wall-to-wall windows, and get lots of natural light. It has its own charming atmosphere, varnished hardwood floor, large wall-mounted TV, double wardrobes with matching chest of drawers.

There is free off-street parking.

The Castle Climbing Centre (on the opposite side of the lake on Green Lanes is a short walk. The Castle is the UK's largest climbing Centre, offering roped and bouldering facilities.

Bespoke ceiling-to-floor, curtains are lined with blackout material for mornings when you want to sleep late. The room has internet Broadband connection. Share a pretty kitchen/diner, bathroom with shower over bath, and separate toilet.

There is also access to a lovely communal rose garden with BBQ, downstairs. You can walk/jog around the lake which is part of the Wildlife Centre and there's also a very nice waterside cafe where you can have coffee, breakfast, lunch, or afternoon tea.

Free off-street parking.

Manor House tube, Piccadilly line/Zone-2 is a 12-minute walk or 1-minute by bus (2 very short stops). The bus stop is on the corner of our street which is a 3-minute walk.

Finsbury Park tube/Victoria line is a five-minute bus ride or one-tube-stop from Manor House tube station.

17-minutes via overland train to The City, Liverpool Street, and London Bridge from Stamford Hill Station which is a six-minute walk from the flat.

Numerous buses from Stoke Newington High Street are 24/7 and go just about everywhere, including:

76, 243 - Waterloo
217 - Enfield to Stoke Newington High St.
253, 254 - Stops at the corner of our street
19 - Stops at Finsbury Park

STOKE NEWINGTON CHURCH STREET with its vibrant atmosphere, trendy bars, pubs, restaurants, sidewalk cafes and funky retro shops is a short walk, as is CLISSOLD PARK, and CLISSOLD LEISURE CENTRE
is off Church Street and has a gym, pool, and sauna.

MANOR HOUSE GYM
is a five-minute walk to Woodberry Down, which is off Seven Sisters Road. It's fairly new (opened last year). It's a no-contract gym and is only £17.99 per month.

THE CASTLE CLIMBING CENTRE
is also within walking distance on Lordship Road. You can go bouldering here and it also has the biggest and best climbing wall in the UK. It's a sociable place where you can learn to rock-climb and abseil. There is also a restaurant/cafe at the water's edge of a large lake where you can sit at a table outside, which is nice on sunny days.

SAILING LESSONS are available on the second lake/ Stoke Newington West Reservoir.

There is an amazing amount of wildlife around here and lots of scenic walks. The Woodberry Wetlands is a nature reserve and the entrance to it is a two-minute walk from the flat. It was opened to the public last summer by Sir David Attenborough. The flat overlooks Stoke Newington East and West Reservoirs -- although they're not reservoirs anymore and are technically lakes which are part of the Woodberry Wetlands/London Wildlife Trust, and you can take sailing and canooing lessons on the West Reservoir if you feel so inclined. You can follow the New River around the circumference of the lake and this lovely scenic route takes you all the way to Lordship Lane and the Climbing Castle, or a shorter walk takes you to Manor House tube via Kayani Avenue (about 15 minutes dependant upon how fast or leisurely you want to walk) or to get to the tube station faster simply jump on the 253 or 254 bus at the corner of our street and it's a one-minute bus ride.

FINSBURY PARK, SPRINGFIELD PARK, HACKNEY MARSHES and THE RIVER LEA are also located nearby.
