Hi there,
We have a large double bedroom going in our lovely Stoke Newington flat. The room is available from 13th October to sign on for a one year lease, however move in dates can be flexible and as early as the 5th October.
About us
We're Alex and Ellie. Ellie is 28, originally from London and works as a producer for a creative content agency. She enjoys photography, travelling and reading about psychology/neuroscience. Alex is 32, she is a graphic designer and also teaches yoga. Her main interests are dance, yoga, and music, but she always open to trying new things. We enjoy hanging out together in the lounge, sharing a meal or watching a movie, but equally have our own independent lives. It's a homely vibe, and we're looking for someone who's easy-going, responsible and wants a calm home atmosphere.
The room:
The room is a large double overlooking a quiet street.
The flat:
The flat is a top floor apartment that is on the corner of two streets, and is south west facing so we get plenty of light. The large living/dining room sits on the corner of the building and has windows on two sides, and we get some beautiful sunset views. Off the living room is the kitchen, and the hallway to the bedrooms and bathroom. The spacious bathroom has a shower/bath.
There is a communal garden at the front of the property which one of our lovely neighbours takes care of.
Please note: We both sometimes work from home in the living room, and would consider a new flatmate that works from home part time.
Area:
We're just off Stoke Newington high street (near the 24 hour bagel house), close to both the cute shops of Church Street and the lively bars of Dalston. The Rectory Road overground stop is 3 mins walk away, and you can get to central in about 20-30 mins. There’s a bus stop a few minute’s walk away that takes you into the centre as well.
Other details:
Bills (Internet, water, council, electric/gas etc.) currently come to about £150 each per month, although this could go up depending on energy bills. `
