Double room in the cottage! For females preferably

We are looking for someone friendly, easy going and respect of each others space and routine. We’d love to find someone who wants to contribute to making the Cottage even more of a home. We’re looking for a third female person.

Grace is a fashion design and Shami is a primary school teacher.

The house is on a quiet road with friendly neighbours in Stoke Newington. We’re really conveniently located 3 minutes from Rectory Road overground, to buses that go to central, to Finsbury park or south. We’re a 15 minute walk to Dalston Junction, or you can get up to Seven Sisters for Victoria line.

The room is a double room with the most light, and the rent is adapted to size. It’s part furnished with a double bed, wardrobe and bookshelf.

The rent for the room is £798.30 per month. The rent maybe cheaper (£689.30) for the first month as the agency is in the process of raising the rent to £798.30. Bills are about £100 (including council tax, band D). Move in date is flexible but by the 27th July latest. You'll be added to the contract and they’ll ask for a deposit.

The house is small and quite non-sound proof so we try and be respectful when we’re home – definitely not a party house. We try to be quite if coming home late as to not wake each other up. The room is definitely not suitable for a couple.

The garden is sort of wild, lots of wildflowers and plants, but we also have raised beds and pots so it will be great if you love gardening 😊

In terms of upkeep, we have a cleaning rota that we try our best to stick to. If something is bothering us we let each other know, understand that sharing a space is different to living alone. We are very respectful of each others space and are clean and tidy.
